Tastes and Traditions of Tuscany
This unique adventure delves deep beyond the iconic landscapes into the history, art and cuisine of the heart of Tuscany. We will explore the extraordinary area known as the Val d'Orcia with its picture perfect landscapes, medieval hill towns, geothermal hot pools, Etruscan tombs, the beautiful estate and gardens of La Foce and the fortress high above Radicofani. We will participate in cooking lessons and enjoy exclusive tastings and tours of selected wineries. Visits to the villages of Pienza, Montepulciano, Siena and others provide opportunities to shop in outdoor markets and experience local life. Our lodging will be in the historic farmhouse of La Montalla (www.lamontalla.com), where we will be treated like part of the family.
