Two friends, who are well versed in things Italian, have combined their respective expertise to create an exceptional journey into the sights and flavors of two important culinary regions of Italy. Chris Zimmerman has been representing vintners throughout Italy for several decades and is considered a specialist in Italian wines. Andrea Aldrich has been sharing her knowledge of the history, art and culture of Italy with her tour groups for many years. They both have developed lasting friendships and connections in their favorite European country, allowing them to provide intimate, behind the scenes experiences for you. Join them for an unforgettable exploration into the food and the wine that are integral to creating the story of regional identity.
From the Langhe of Piedmont to the Chianti, Montalcino and Montepulciano wine zones of Tuscany, we will taste exquisite wines with the winemakers, learn how to cook traditional foods with the chefs, search for truffles with the hunter and his dogs, explore villages, castles, Etruscan tombs and stay in beautiful, historic lodgings.
